(1R,2R)-1,2-Diaminocyclohexane D-tartrate - Introduction
(1R,2R)-Cyclohexane-1,2-diamine (2S,3S)-2,3-dihydroxysuccinate, also known as (R,R)-CDSD, is an organic compound. Its chemical structure contains a cyclic six-membered ring and two amino groups, as well as two hydroxyl groups.
This compound has the following properties:
1. Appearance:(R,R)-CDSD is a white crystalline solid, sometimes yellow or pink.
2. Solubility: Soluble in water and many organic solvents.
3. melting point: melting point is about 180-185 ℃.
(R,R)-CDSD is mainly used as a chiral catalyst or ligand in drug synthesis, especially in asymmetric synthesis. It can catalyze asymmetric rearrangement, asymmetric nucleophilic substitution, asymmetric oxidation and asymmetric ortho nucleophilic substitution reaction.
(R,R)-CDSD is prepared as follows:
A commonly used preparation method is obtained by a two-step reaction of cyclohexanedione. First, cyclohexanedione is reacted with formaldehyde to produce (R,R)-cyclohexane -1, 2-dione. The diketone is then reduced to (R,R)-cyclohexane -1, 2-dione diheptanoate (transsalt) by a reduction reaction. Finally, the transsalt is reacted with disodium hydroxide to give the final product.
Regarding the safety information of (R,R)-CDSD, there are currently no clear toxicity data or hazard reports. However, as a chemical, the following safety precautions should be observed when handling:
1. After contact with the skin, it should be washed with plenty of water immediately.
2. Avoid inhaling dust or gas, and maintain good ventilation during use.
3. Use with appropriate protective gloves and eye/face protection.
4. Storage should avoid contact with oxidants, acids or other organic compounds.
In any process of using (R,R)-CDSD, the operating specifications and safety guidelines of the chemical laboratory should be strictly observed, and corresponding protective measures should be taken according to the specific situation. If you have any questions or unexpected situations, please consult a chemical professional.
